The Adirondacks

We spent two nights and three days in The Adirondacks camping at Nick's Lake.  Although the fall colors aren't showing all that well in this area, it is just beautiful!  As we stepped out of our motor home after arriving we heard a loon call...,we didn't see it or hear another, but it was great being able to actually hear one call.

This was the view looking out from our bedroom window.

The water was so crystal clear and the reflections on the water were just awesome.

There were several kayakers taking advantage of the lake.

During the summer season this rack is full of rental canoes.

This trail was one of many that meandered through the woods.  They are used as both pedestrian and snowmobile trails.  We were glad we didn't happen across any black bears that they have in the area.

This was one of our prettiest campsites we've had so far.  What more could you want...a beautiful lake, a gorgeous view and of course, your dog!
